Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Demand & Supply Planner to play a key role in ensuring strong forecast accuracy across the Canadian Nespresso portfolio. This role is critical in enabling high customer service levels by having optimized inventory, while minimizing distribution costs. Acting as a subject matter expert for the end-to-end Plan to Execute process and the Monthly Forecast Review, you will partner closely with Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to support effective business decision-making.
A day in the life of a Senior Demand and Supply Planner

In this role, you combine analytical rigor with strong cross functional collaboration.
-
You lead and facilitate the ‘Monthly Business Planning (MBP) cycle, challenge assumptions, highlight risks and opportunities, and help drive consensus on the demand plan.
-
You actively monitor forecast performance, inventory levels, and supply plans, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain efficiency and on shelf availability across Canada.
-
You also act as Canada’s voice with our global production and allocation teams at Nespresso Canada, proactively flagging supply gaps, quantifying associated risks, and advocating for adjustments to supply plans to ensure Canadian business needs are fully supported.
Main KPIs
Success in this role is measured through key planning and service indicators including:
-
forecast accuracy and bias (M1 / M3)
-
demand plan accuracy (DPA)
-
inventory coverage (stock cover)
-
stock availability
-
inventory turns (working capital), a
-
targeted customer service levels (fill rate).

Waste & destruction
With a strong sustainability mindset, you will be responsible for proactively identifying risks of product expiry at least three months in advance and working closely with Marketing teams to accelerate sell through, with the objective of achieving zero waste and zero product destruction.
You are also accountable for delivering timely, high quality KPI reporting and actionable insights to support operational and business reviews.
You will also:

Act as a trusted advisor to cross functional partners

Contribute to portfolio and product lifecycle management (launches, phase-in/phase-out discontinuations)

Proactively manage inventory and supply risks
-
Ensure optimal stock allocation across our distribution network (4 DCs) to support high service levels for our retail boutiques and ecommerce operations across Canada
-
Balance availability with network constraints, which will help optimize fulfillment flows and delivery costs while maintaining healthy inventory levels.

Act as a change agent, you will lead or support process improvements, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives, while ensuring compliance with Nestlé and Nespresso standards, ethics, and quality requirements.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with highly organized approach

Bilingual (English and French)
