What to Expect:

The Sustainability Analyst will be responsible for compiling and analyzing sustainability data on Recycling KPIs, C02 Reductions and Stewardship for the Nespresso Canada. 

 

A day in the life:

  • Lead data analyses and reporting for a deeper understanding and overall optimization of recycling program including stewardship, extended producer responsibility (EPR) and emissions.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to report and calculate impact of recycling projects and initiatives on KPIs.
  • Full analytics package of recycling rates, recycling capacities and other related KPIs by recycling solution. Track project key changes and understand root causes.
  • Set up and maintain weekly / monthly recycling KPIs and elevate anomalies to manager.
  • Ensure tracking and benchmarking with HQ and other Nespresso Markets, industry trends.
  • Provides insights and recommendations for actions plans for improvements and optimizations.
  • Set up and maintain recycling and Co2 dashboards / KPI Packages for key stakeholders in sustainability.
  • Monthly reconciliation of recycling budget forecast; organize and review invoices and purchase orders including all vendors such as Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) and third-party partners. Elevation of any payment gaps to manager for monthly budget review.

 

 

 

Role Requirements

  • Bilingualism in English and French language skills are a requirement, as this position requires collaboration with stakeholders across the Canadian market.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field as Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a corporate environment in a business, Data Analyst role with a scope in operations.
  • Advanced proficiency of Power BI and SAP                                                                   
  • Knowledge of database analysis and structure
  • Problem-solving & motivated self-starter mindset
  • Analytical, rigourous and proactive. 
  • Pragmatic and results oriented
  • Detail oriented & able to incorporate critical & logical thinking.
  • Organizational & time management skills (multi-task oriented).
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Willingness to be flexible & adaptable to changing priorities. Effectively manage continually changing priorities in a high-pressure environment.
  • Passionate about sustainability and positive change.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
