Position Summary  
We are looking for an Environmental Sustainability Intern based at our Montreal location for the months of May to August 2026. This role will be responsible for supporting the daily analytics, reporting and managing tasks of the Environmental Sustainability function in Operations department.  

 

A day in the life of an Environmental Sustainability Intern 
As an intern you will participate in environmental operations to contribute actively to Nespresso Sustainability projects, Life Cycle Assessments, support with an accounting of GHG emissions reduction, and environmental and recycling audits. 

 

You will also: 

  • Measure, analyze and report environmental Key Performance Indicators. 

  • Brainstorm strategies of continuous improvement. 

  • Play a key role in working cross-functionally with a whole host of stakeholders internally and externally to Nestlé ensuring the successful implementation of our sustainability-related projects. 

 
What will make you successful? 
As a successful candidate, Environmental Sustainability intern you will be the champion and representative Sustainability function of the Operations department throughout the organization and our sustainability, audit and recycling partners so you will need to be passionate, tenacious, results-oriented and enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. You will already have great project management and analytical skills coupled with your highly organised, conscientious approach. Pro-activity, tenacity and enthusiasm are essential, as is your ability to understand and work within our competitive market.  

 

You will also: 

  • Bilingualism in English and French language skills are a requirement, as this position requires collaboration with stakeholders across the Canadian market and/or worldwide. 

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with an emphasis in Environmental science, Sustainability studies. 

  • Strong computer proficiency (PowerPoint, Word, Excel). 

  • Fast learner, and must be comfortable working within a dynamic, challenging environment. 

  • Be capable of adapting to a fast-paced environment. 

  • Have the ability to build great relationships with internal and external stakeholders from various backgrounds and work collaboratively on multiple projects. 

  • Be able to showcase excellent communication and project management skills. 

  • Be passionate to build and grow brands, with ‘can-do’ attitude and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
