Position Summary
We are looking for a Workforce Planning & Reporting Analyst based at our Montreal head office reporting into the Retail Experience & Excellence Manager. As the Workforce Planning & Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible to manage wage budget control, monitor wage impact on overall RO % and analyze scheduling reporting across our Canadian Boutique Network.
A day in the life of...
As the Workforce Planning & Reporting Analyst, using Kronos, you will support, analyze and report on all aspects of boutique workforce planning activities including scheduling, forecasting, real-time management and performance monitoring in connection with sales, customer experience and budget parameters.
- Continually improving scheduling, analytics, reporting and overall boutique performance with regards to payroll, productivity, and forecasting
- Discovering enhancement opportunities for the Kronos Advanced Scheduling system and other Workforce Planning technologies that align with KPIs associated with labour management
- Building reliable and detailed forecast using relative inputs such as customer traffic, sales data, and store demographic information by location
- Internal support for Kronos
- Preparing, delivering and presenting data with respects to labour and workforce management
What will make you successful
- Must be bilingual, English and French
- Bachelor’s or technical degree required
- 1-3 years of retail analytics experience (sales, labour, etc.)
- Minimum 1 year experience in a labour management system, preferably with Kronos
- Thorough knowledge of workforce planning processes including scheduling and forecasting
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel required (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
- Reporting suite experience preferred (Cognos, SAP, etc.)
- Ability to understand and interpret statistical reporting
- Proven ability to manage change and implement process improvements
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team and to take initiative
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
