POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the supporting of all operations related activities in the production of raw product (pumpkin) for processing. Support the management of standards for both existing and new production activities. Support all plant operations at the Morton facility.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop detailed standards that are impactful. Be a problem solver by creating solutions to problems in accordance with operations. Prepare procedures and standards for upload to POKA system. Ability to gain knowledge on all basic production equipment in the facility. Anticipate problems and takes corrective action prior to equipment failure. Master plant process flows, utility flows, capacities, procedures, and practices. Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:
Working toward or received an undergraduate degree. Maintaining a GPA of 2.75 and above (preferred). Have strong communication, analytical, organizational, interpersonal skills, and are self-starters. Possesses a continuous improvement mindset and strong problem-solving skills. Open to working in a factory environment. Strong communication and presentation skills. Analytical skillset for data tracking and results analysis. Collaborative and able to work in a team environment. Demonstrate exceptional learning capabilities. Ability to deliver results on challenging assignments. Aptitude in Microsoft suite products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Sponsorship for work visas is not offered for this position.
