Position Summary

Position Summary: The site QA Intern position is an important QA role at the site and will work closely with our QA team to assist with the coordination and execution of good manufacturing practice programs and post maintenance inspection programs to ensure practical, cost-effective measures are in place within the workplace to continuously improve our Quality Culture.

Primary Responsibilities: The QA Intern will be responsible for a variety of projects which may include Good Manufacturing assessments, Standard Operating Procedure organization, training organization and improvements, chemical inventories, and lab equipment procedure updates. The position interacts with employees to ensure a culture of caring and where each employee is accountable and responsible for QA conditions and behaviors. The QA Intern will help ensure compliance with regulations and Company policies, routinely interacting with employees on the site floor on a routine basis. This list of projects is not inclusive and is subject to change. Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Education: Working toward an undergraduate degree in the areas of Microbiology, Chemistry, or food science-related studies, or engineering or other related fields. Maintaining a GPA of 2.75 and above (preferred). Have strong communication, analytical, organizational, interpersonal skills, and are self-starters. Possesses a continuous improvement mindset and strong problem-solving skills. Open to working in a factory environment.
