About the Role

We’re seeking an Electrical Mechanic to perform electrical maintenance in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment for the Mt. Sterling Nestle facility. This role supports equipment reliability, safety compliance, and production up time.

Compensation

$33/hr is the starting wage.

There is also a $2.00/hr shift differential for this role.

Shift Details and Hours

2-2-3 Schedule; 12 hours shifts – we are seeking the night side; 6PM to 6:30AM. Must have weekend availability for this shift.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, panels, wiring, and equipment.
• Use test instruments (meters, oscilloscopes, etc.).
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Perform preventive maintenance and support production troubleshooting.
• Follow OSHA, NEC, GMP, and company safety requirements.
• Maintain documentation and complete required safety training.

What You Need

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have or acquire knowledge of PLC’s, HMI’s, motion controls, and measuring instruments.
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read schematics and follow procedures.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout and GMPs.
• Intermediate math and communication skills.

Work Environment

Industrial setting with exposure to heat, cold, noise, steam, humidity, and moving machinery. Requires lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and kneeling.
