Position Summary

Own the supply of required Industrial Services (IS) for the factory to build a safe, reliable and efficient use of equipment and services for all areas of Industrial Services.

 

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Provide direction and develop the capability and performance of the IS technicians to ensure services are provided in the right quantity and quality to minimize cost and environmental impact.
• Maintain equipment for safe reliable and long-term operation in an efficient manner including appropriate use of planned and predictive maintenance utilizing SAP AMM and Nestlé’s Maintenance Strategy while minimizing adverse effects on production. This includes management of the associated cost within the maintenance budget.
• Follow all federal, state, local and internal Nestlé requirements from design through operation and maintenance. Ensure all staff are aware of requirements and their responsibility. Keep updated documentation of the plant and ensure tracking and compliance of needed process changes.
• Drive the efficient operation of all utility systems minimizing the use of natural resources, energy, and the impact on the environment. Drive resource conservation and awareness within the facility in alignment with Nestlé.
• Continuous improvement and execution of capital and operational projects utilizing Nestlé Continuance Perfection concepts.
• Coordinate closely with other departments internally, externally and with vendors, contractors and regulatory bodies. Ensure local and corporate management is aware and aligned on all regulatory or NGO contacts.
• Review industry standards and evaluate application and benefits in the Industrial Services area.

 

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Industrial Services working with Ammonia refrigeration, including refrigeration PSM/RMP experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in management of operational and maintenance teams.

 

Skills:
• PSM experience required.
• SAP knowledge desirable but not required.
• Knowledge of standards and regulations including OSHA, EPA, ASME, ANSI, and PSM/RMP. 
• Desirable experience in the food industry.
