As the Industrial Services Planner, you will be responsible for prioritizing and monitoring the activities of the industrial services team. You will ensure that all tasks are executed in accordance with established work instructions and processes, which is essential for maintaining asset reliability. In this role, you will play a crucial part in continuously improving overall plant performance by effectively coordinating team efforts and implementing best practices. Your diligent oversight and strategic planning will contribute to the efficient operation of the plant, ensuring that all services are delivered on time and to the highest standards. By fostering a collaborative environment and focusing on process improvements, you will help drive the success of the industrial services team and enhance the overall effectiveness of the plant operations.
Responsibilities
- Implement the Maintenance & Improvement (M&I) plans and objectives in accordance with the engineering policy, key principles and the M&I activity as outlined in the Nestlé Engineering Excellence document.
- Coordinates Industrial Services associates to be at the right place at the right time with the right skills to support daily operations.
- Promotes a safe work environment, optimizing performance through effective maintenance systems and predictive measures, measuring compliance towards maintenance targets, performing root cause and failure analysis.
- Monitors the work performance of Industrial Services associates to assure compliance with all Nestlé policies and practices.
- Provides coaching to Industrial Services associates and feedback to the team leader on Industrial Services associates development needs.
- Ensure Industrial Services associates utilize Asset and Maintenance Management (AMM) to manage the lifecycle of the physical assets.
- Performs skilled maintenance activities and related work as required.
- Communicate and cooperate with all other functions, mainly operations/EPSU, to schedule maintenance plans and activities in line with production schedule.
- Monitor equipment to identify gaps in food safety, human safety and reliability.
- Liaise with Production and Engineering on a daily basis to ensure technical and/or operational issues are resolved.
- Monitor stoppage analysis from downtime reporting system and develop/adapt maintenance plan to ensure optimal operation and reduction of unplanned stoppages.
- Ensure that material and services planning are accurate and effective.
- Execute maintenance plans and tasks and resources for existing and new assets.
- Maintain asset master data.
- Collaborate with maintenance engineer, storekeeper to ensure spare parts availability.
- Monitor maintenance conformity and review maintenance reports.
- Analyze and review the use of work order type and maintenance activity type in AMM.
- Participate in the Consequence Driven Maintenance approach by the CDM teams and ensure implementation of the maintenance plans.
- Participate in the Consequence Driven Maintenance approach by the CDM teams and ensure implementation of the maintenance plans.
- Consolidate the action plans from CDM studies and translate them into yearly, monthly, weekly maintenance plans in cooperation with the Industrial Services Planner.
- Utilize planned downtime for scheduled/predictive and condition-based maintenance with work orders.
- Optimize predictive maintenance technologies (condition monitoring and inspections) to minimize unplanned technical stoppages.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 3 years experience in a technical field, including NH3 refrigeration, preferable in food manufacturing facility
Skills
- 2 years ammonia experience
- in depth knowledge of equipment maintenance and production planning
- knowledge of food safety, regulatory requirements for food safety and hygienic engineering ( OSH&R)
- communication and service minded
- general understanding of financial analysis, budget reports and relevant business drivers
- CIRO certification preferred
