Nestlé USA, Inc. seeks multiple Expert Manufacturing Excellence in Mt. Sterling KY
Duties: Act as subject matter expert for the factory team in leveraging TPM and Autonomy and Industrial Performance (IP) methodologies to improve results in a continuous and sustainable manner. Work from the factory and provide guidance and support to define and execute the factory strategy and develop autonomous operational teams, as well as ensuring a regular updates of accurate key manufacturing information and master data. Leverage use of digital tools to help factory reduce losses. Coach and support the Factory ME Manager to leverage TPM and Autonomy and IP tools to support the business needs and deliver the expected results. Evaluate maturity progression and identifying key opportunities together with the Factory ME Manager. Promote and support factory reapplication of best manufacturing practices, standards, and improvements across the category and factories. Support Factory ME Manager and FLT in identifying key loses and root cause.
Requirements:
Job requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field plus 5 years of factory experience as a Factory ME Manager or Production/ Maintenance Manager. Required experience must include all of the following:
- 5 years of experience in working with factory management and leadership teams;
- 5 years of experience in leading and coaching TPM and Autonomy Practices;
- 5 years of experience in IP and problem-solving tools and methodologies including LTA, RCA, line balancing, VSD, and DMAIC;
- 5 years of experience in working with manufacturing standards and master data;
- 5 years of experience in data systems including SAP and DMO;
- 5 years of experience in working with cultural change management;
- 5 years of experience in leading and developing cross-functional teams;
- 5 years of experience in managing business connections with direct and indirect stakeholders within the manufacturing industry;
- 5 years of experience in working with and supporting senior management;
- 5 years of experience in project management; and
- 2 years of experience in manufacturing product and process mastership (PPM).
Domestic travel to factory sites required up to 75% of time for business meetings. Telework permissible up to 25% of time per month.
