POSITION SUMMARY

We have an exciting new role in our Nestle Health Science (NHS) team for a Medical Affairs Specialist.  In this role, you will be responsible for;
Develop and reinforce Nestlé’s credibility as science leaders by gathering insights to inform the business and providing scientific expertise to the field force.

A DAY IN THE LIFE...

Reporting directly to the NHSc Medical Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for the execution of the global and local medical strategy to meet business objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Identify, engage and manage relationships with medical and scientific stakeholders in relevant platforms including key Health Care Professionals and medical decision makers.
  • Deliver medical and scientific education to internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify and engage appropriate stakeholders to participate in company sponsored programs and activities.
  • Participate with field sales team in clinical focused selling opportunities                
  • Ensure accuracy of nutritional and scientific claims in marketing strategy and materials
  • Implement external medical education programs/scientific events for healthcare professionals in line with business strategies.  
  • Shares gaps in evidence with Medical Affairs & Marketing teams to be incorporated into business strategy.      
ARE YOU A FIT?

 

  • The ideal candidate will have at least minimum 2 years’ experience in a clinical role in the healthcare setting. 
  • Possess strong experience and knowledge in Healthcare/Nutrition/Dietetics/Pharmaceuticals/Food Technology/Life Science
  • High-level business acumen and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Advanced practical nutritional skills and knowledge
  • Exceptional written communication skills and experience in reviewing scientific research and writing for different audiences
  • Ability to present information and communicate effectively with a variety of teams and individuals from different cultures and nationalities.
  • Sales/ Marketing or other industry experience within the health sector is highly regarded. 

Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and have Permanent Residency.
