We are looking for a RSA Manager ensures that Nestlé Regulatory & Scientific Affairs strategy is consistently implemented in the local organization. He/she assure with all relevant functions delivery of safe, compliant and attractive products as a key contribution to maintain consumer trust in our brands and services. He/She proactively engages with authorities and associations.

A day in the life of Regulatory & Scientific Affairs Manager

• Keep abreast of regulatory knowledge locally, at relevant countries and at Codex and/or international standard-setting organizations.
• Propose & implement validated action plans in response to regulatory changes in the market.
• Contribute as key member to local and multimarket Innovation & Renovation projects.
• Ensure regulatory compliance of recipes, raw materials and products, labelling and any kind of product communication by working in close collaboration with marketing, nutritionist, legal and quality department and application groups.
• Participate in and/or lead industry working groups. Participate in discussion with authorities. Participate on request to certain Codex and/or other international standard-setting organizations meeting/work through its local authorities.
• Participate in incident and crisis management

What will make you successful

• 5 years experience in different positions in Food industry or relevant Trade Associations in regulatory or close to regulatory and product development.
• Applied knowledge in at least one of the regulatory related topics such as food safety, affairs or quality
• Demonstrated influencing skills.
• Knowledge and experience in nutrition, science, raw material and finished products applied to regulatory environment.  Work following defined indicators/Objectives, and proactively tracking them
• Experience in effective networking across the functional boundaries.
• Experience in building and implementing strategy in particular area.
• Recognized solid project management and interrelation skills
