Business Unit Controller - Nunspeet

Nestlé Nunspeet is a successful operating unit of the Nestlé Group, the world's leading food, beverage, nutrition and wellness company.

Our factory in the Netherlands is producing the most advanced infant formula for both the Nutrition division and the Nestlé Health Science (NHSc) division. Our products with brands as NAN, AL110, Alfaré, Althera and Alfamino are exported to countries all over the world.

By joining the finance team in our Nunspeet factory, you will take ownership and play a key role in all activities affecting the affiliates P&L of the Nestlé Nutrition and NHSc business units.

 

Business Unit Controller, this is your challenge:

You have excellent analytical skills and a passion for finance, you like working in a dynamic environment with stakeholders in the factory, zone EMENA, NHSc, head office Amstelveen, technical controlling Germany and different shared service centers. You want to be the right hand for the Factory F&C Manager and have the responsibility in reporting and forecasting the full affiliate P&L of Nunspeet.

Tasks of a Business Unit Controller: 


• Coordinate the reporting and forecasting of the full affiliate P&L Nunspeet for Nestlé Nutrition and NHSc business (including organizing and overseeing timeliness and accuracy of period-end close, and promoting ownership of data at source); ensure  transparency of this process; follow up and monitoring of progress to close gaps, ensuring Nestle financial policies, Accounting Standards and Costing Standards are followed;
• Establish effective communication and partnering relationships with Nestle Nutrition, NHSc business, the market decision support team and other departments within the factory;
• Prepare and coordinate during the budget process together with the factory, HQ Amstelveen and the COC Barcelona the transfer price inputs and monitor them during the year;
• Represent and advice the Nunspeet finance department in upcoming financial projects and oversee the impacts on the affiliates P&L;
• Manage and present ad-hoc simulations to give the overview to the stakeholder for decision making.

These are the requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or similar
  • 3 to 6 years’ experience in a similar function and industry is a plus;
  • Aptitude with financial systems; • Strong communication skills, curiosity to learn and understand working in a complex environment;
  • Flexible and pragmatic approach to challenges, drives these with the team;
  • Good control of the English language
