Category Production Planner, this is your challenge

 

As “Category Production Planner”, you will be responsible for building robust production and supply plans for our Nunspeet factory for Infant Formula Products in Nutrition. Working hand in hand with the factory team, you will ensure that products are available with the highest quality, at the right location to meet customer demand whilst minimizing cost. This is an exciting role that offers the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across different areas of our business including: factory planning, production, quality, finance, demand & supply planning teams across several markets and projects.

 

As Category Production Planner you have the following responsibilities: 

  • Establish an 18-month production plan for Infant Formula in the Nunspeet factory, ensuring continuous product availability in all receiving locations;
  • Lead the discussion on Committed Capacity with the factory, including timing proposals for plant shutdowns and realistic output assumptions;
  • Analyze and evaluate the supply plan to satisfy customer needs considering network complexity and supply constraints;
  • Create a feasible and optimal production plan based on constrained capacity;
  • Identify and effectively address all potential capacity issues in advance, working closely with multiple stakeholders to implement solutions;
  • Identify possible opportunities and improvements in collaboration with the factory within the 18-month horizon balancing flexibility and reliability;
  • Support actively the “Strategic Volume Planning” process by providing capacity simulations, scenario planning and contingency proposals;
  • Coordinate Annual Volume Commitment consolidation, volume forecast for the factory and be the contact point for the local finance team for export volumes.

 

As Category Production you report to the Infant Formula Category Supply Lead and you are part of the Zone Europe Nutrition Supply Chain team. The role will be based in our Infant Formula factory in Nunspeet.

 

What we are looking for in our Category Production Planner?

  • Relevant operational experience at market/business level, in at least one of the following areas: Production Planning, Supply Planning, Purchasing, Factory Production Leadership or Demand Planning;
  • knowledge of Inter-market supply process and best practices;
  • strong analytical and numerical skills;
  • appetite to leverage the IT systems and challenge the status quo;
  • experience with SAP;
  • Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
