As Electrical Technician you have the following responsibilities:
- You observe electromechanical devices and detect faults using diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, tachometers, network testers, and thermal imaging cameras to identify the source of the problem;
- you analyze, interpret, and document performance data from equipment;
- you are familiar with safe working practices, including isolating, de-energizing, locking out, and tagging energy-intrinsic equipment. You follow recognized procedures for deactivating machines/systems, in accordance with the required work permits;
- you adhere to safety procedures and Nestlé's health and environmental policies;
- you recognize and report personal injuries and potential hazards, contributing to their resolution;
- you ensure the complete and accurate completion of all work-related documentation, both in written and electronic form, including work orders, PM records, parts requisitions, work execution reports, and service records;
- you troubleshoot and repair predictive program instrumentation and maintain the repair history of the instrumentation;
- you perform root cause analysis and resolve automation issues in the production line.
As Electrical Technician you report to the teamleader Automation Engineering and you are part of the E&A department of Nestlé Nederland.
What we are looking for in our Electrical Technician:
- You have basic knowledge of motor controls, instrumentation, and programmable controllers (PLCs);
- basic knowledge of computers, MS Office, specifically in Word and Excel;
- you work well in a team or individual environment;
- you must be able to work in an industrial environment with the company's safety and quality standards.
Furthermore, you meet one of the following requirements:
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance as an electrician or an associate degree in I&E Technology;
- experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of low and medium voltage switching equipment, including experience with preventive maintenance of switches, relays, and transformers.
