Intern Automation Engineer, this is your challenge

At Nestle Nunspeet, we strive to produce the best baby food in the world. Our factory is equipped with advanced technologies and innovative production methods to ensure that we meet the highest standards in food safety and quality.
You will be part of the E&A group in Nunspeet factory. Together with our engineering experts you’re going to join daily operations in our factory. You will be assigned to one project in Nunspeet and you will be responsible for it.
As Intern Automation Engineer you have the following responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and improve existing Automation systems;
- Support daily automation topics occurring on the assignment (HMI-PLC-MES);
- Develop root cause analysis.
- Identify improvements areas on the assignment under your responsibility;
- Write a report with the process and work achieved.
As Intern Automation Engineer you report to E&A and Automation Teamleader.
What we are looking for in our Intern Automation Engineer?
You want to develop yourself as an Automation and MES Engineer. You also like to work with colleagues from other departments like Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance and Technology etc. Furthermore, you are aware of what kind of product we produce, for which group and why we follow certain rules for quality.
- Bachelor student in the direction of electrical engineering, computer science or industrial automation;
- knowledge in PLC controls;
- Knowledge in SCADA and HMI’s.
- you are someone who takes initiative, has an innovative mindset and self-knowledge;
- you are trustworthy, service oriented and wants to work together with colleagues;
- good control of the English language. Dutch is a pre.
The internship offers more than just a challenge:
- A full-time internship (32 - 40 hours per week);
- 10 vacation days (based on 6 months);
- an internship allowance of €800 per month based on 40 hours;
- full reimbursement of travel expenses;
- guidance by experienced professionals and access to their knowledge and expertise;
- a pleasant working environment, team spirit, company pride and motivated colleagues.
- you will be part of an international team that includes experts on areas of Automation MES and IT;
- you will develop your automation and MES skills following Nestlé and international standards;
- training on MES, Wonderware, field networks, Rockwell PLC’s and safety standards can be offered;
