Maintenance Engineer Processing, this is your challenge
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work on optimizing the performance and lifetime costs of machines. Together with the other maintenance engineers, you determine the maintenance strategies and work on the correct implementation of maintenance plans. In addition, you have the freedom to further develop your knowledge and apply it in an area in which your interests lie.
As a Maintenance Engineer Processing, you have the following responsibilities:
Operational Routines
- Participate and contribute to the maintenance team operational routines, including DER/DMR, DOR, MWG, WER, MER;
- Maintenance Performance and Reporting;
- Create maintenance performance reports, and recommendations for improvements (BDA, MTBF, spare parts optimization, preventive/corrective spending analysis);
- Analyse and report AWG coaching and training needs to Production (troubleshooting, CIL, CL) to enable autonomous operations;
- Responsible for implementing and leading Break Down Analysis (BDA);
- Responsible for Breakdown program as day to day business.
Asset Management
- Manage assets and maintenance plans and create the FLOC structure down to equipment level, with associated correct criticality.
Continuous Improvement; - Train and coach the Maintenance team on proper work order allocation (PM01, PM02, PM03, and PM04) and quality of time confirmations;
- Continuous improvement of maintenance plans based on feedback from planner, mechanics, MWG Lead and recurrent breakdown;
- Introduce and implement new work methods and maintenance technologies such as predictive maintenance;
- Initiate and lead improvement projects and act as point of contact for bigger CAPEX projects;
- Responsible for managing, reviewing and updating the maintenance service contracts with the 3rd parties.
Spare-parts management
- Identify slow/non-mover spare parts in coordination with Technical Store;
- Review/create ERSA material requests and ensure correct classification.
Technical competences
- Provide technical expertise and support for complex maintenance issues;
- Identify and report gaps with regards to Maintenance team competencies and organize, plan and coordinate required training for MWGs;
- Training and Coaching of team members in SAP on maintenance procedures, best practices, and SAP working standards.
Documentation Management
- Responsible for keeping the department’s part of meridian up to date;
- Ensure correct documentation, reports and certificates from projects and 3rd party suppliers (CE, calibration, maintenance plans, drawings etc);
- Reviewing and updating the department standard equipment list and maintaining it up to date.
As a Maintenance Engineer Processing, you report to the Maintenance – Processing Team Leader and you are part of the Engineering department of Nestlé Netherlands.
This is what you bring to the vacancy Maintenance Engineer Processing:
- Technical education at higher professional education level or demonstrable relevant work experience;
- At least 3 years of experience as a maintenance, reliability or project engineer. Experience in the food industry is an advantage;
- Analytical skills and good communication skills;
- Experience with SAP or other relevant maintenance systems.
