In your role you will be supporting the factory Capex team on various projects across the whole spectrum of the factory.
As a Project Engineer Automation you have the following responsibilities:
- You are going to develop as a specialist in Factory Automation Systems (FAS), MES, Process Control Systems, and Digital Systems. These systems support the daily production of baby food, from the raw material to the end product from Nestlé Nutrition and Health Science;
- you will manage multiple projects flexibly and with a high degree of autonomy to ensure they are implemented within a running factory environment - fast - efficiently - and well aligned with the daily work of the operations & quality teams;
- you will be part of the project engineering team, an experienced team within Nestlé and the food industry. Together with our experts, you’re going to start and guide the automation, DMO, and digital projects;
- you are also going to be included in the daily operations of our factory. You will be responsible for the electrical and automation changes detailed prepared for the control of our line-machines and you’re going to maintain contact with our suppliers.
What we are looking for in our Project Engineer Automation?
- You want to develop yourself as an Automation and MES Engineer within the Nestlé Company. You also like to work with colleagues from other departments like Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance and Technology etc. Furthermore, you are aware of what kind of product we produce, for which group and why we follow certain rules for quality;
- a Bachelor’s degree in the direction of electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, computer science or industrial automation;
- experience with PLC’s, HMI design, electrical design, P&ID diagrams, industrial control networks and MES;
- experience with project management phases in an engineering job including basic design, detailed design, construction, startup and validation documentation;
- knowledge and experience with Wonderware and Rockwell PLC’s is not a must, but can be an advantage;
- you are someone who takes leadership, initiative, has an innovative mindset and self-knowledge;
- you are trustworthy, service oriented and wants to work together with colleagues;
- good control of the English language. Dutch is a pre.
The vacancy offers more than just a challenge:
- A fulltime position (40 hours a week) with excellent terms of employment, such as a 13th month, 25 holidays a year, corporate fitness initiatives and many other extra’s;
- a salary range between € 4300 and € 6300 depending on your knowledge and experience;
