Your challenge:


In your job as an Automation and MES Engineer, you’re going to develop as a specialist in Factory Automation Systems (FAS), MES and Process Control Systems. These systems support the daily production of baby food, from the raw material to the end product from Nestlé Nutrition and Health Science.
Together with our MES experts, Automation expert and the FAS-administrator, you’re going to start and guide the automation and MES projects. You’re also going to be included in the daily operations of our factory. You will be responsible for the software changes in the control of our line-machines and you’re going to maintain contact with our suppliers.

 

 Your tasks:  

 

  • You will analyze the problems that occur in the Automation Process Control Systems and MES solution.
  • You test/implement control programs and control interfaces. You prepare them, so they can be used immediately. In consultation with the involved departments, you’re going to coordinate the functional automation and MES specifications.
  • You’re going to formalize user requirement specifications (URS) and FAT documents. Besides you formalize user manuals and document these together with additional technical information.
  • You’re going to give technical advice to the purchasing department and to the production departments. Besides you’re going to maintain good communication relationships with our suppliers. You’re also responsible for a part of the training of our operators and electro technicians.
  • The described activities can be planned for a part and are for a part ad hoc. This makes the job alternately.

This job is classified in scale HP5 in our CLA HP. The salary range of this job is in between €50.000 and €63.000 on a yearly bases. This salary indication depends on your experience.

What are the requirements?


For this job we are looking for candidates with:

 

  • A bachelor degree in the direction of electrical engineering, process control technology, industrial automation or computer science.
  • Knowledge in PLC controls and affinity with network components and MES. Knowledge and experience with Wonderware and Allen Bradley is not required, but would be good to have.
  • Experience in an engineering job in machine and equipment construction.
  • Good control of the English and Dutch language.
