Main Purpose of Job                    
The factory engineer is responsible to manage the engineering activities relating to the factory such that employee health and safety, product safety and the protection of the environment are never compromised and that all engineering activities enhance product quality, plant performance and the business objectives.

To define, propose and monitor the implementation of Factory Engineering team’s plans and objectives in accordance with the Engineering Policy, Key Principles and the Key Engineering Activities as outlined in the Nestlé Engineering Excellence (NEE) master document. The role has an end to end responsibility and shared accountability with other functions that ensures operational execution speed and sustainable manufacturing excellence.

Key Experiences: 

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Technology, with a focus on relevant disciplines.; with minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience preferably within the food manufacturing or similar FMCG industry, with responsibilities encompassing maintenance and projects.

2. In-depth knowledge of food processing plant and technology maintenance, including utilities management. Experience in project engineering and management, particularly in plant design and construction, contributing to successful project execution.

3. Familiarity with food safety regulations and hygienic engineering principles (OSH&R), ensuring compliance with industry standards.

4. Competence in industrial services and energy management, including familiarity with tools like NEMT, for optimizing resource utilization.

5. Good understanding of electricity, control, and automation systems, crucial for maintaining and enhancing plant efficiency.

6. Proficient in various computer applications such as MS Project, Basic AutoCAD, CIAT, etc."
