Senior Officer - Manufacturing excellence

Purpose of the role:
Provide essential support in the implementation of manufacturing excellence initiatives and the continuous improvement of processes within Nestlé. Responsible for assisting in the identification of optimization opportunities, analyzing manufacturing data, participating in improvement projects, and supporting the development of a culture of continuous improvement.

Ensure efficient operation of manufacturing processes and contributing to the achievement of organizational goals and objectives. Ensuring Capabilty building at the Work group Level by Supporting  LLT to drive the Shopfloor Routines (AWG/MWG/SDCA/7KSR)

 

Key Outputs:

Productivity & Manning Optimization  :

 -Driving Productivity improvement projects to deliver cost leadership

- Deliver Productivity improvement leveraging  NCE practices, Industry 4.0 initiatives and Automation

- Conduct Work load study, VA/NVA analysis, Line balancing to optimize production line crewing to arrive right manpower standard

- Deep Underastanding of the Manning Standards & Oppurtunity.

Digital in Operations :

-Formalize the Digital Roadmap for the factory @ Line Wise

-Drive Digitalization  initiatives in the factory along with Engineering  & Production (DMO-NSAM-ELTA-COBOT-Paperless Shopfloor)

Capacity Management :-

- - Driving various capacity de-bottlenecking projects with Engineering/Production team

- Works on the Line Wise AI Improvement Plan to debottle Neck capacity to support business Growth.

Cost :

- Drive ZLMV  reduction for Priority Lines

- Drive High Impact Focused Improvement Projects to support the Business Growth

- Ensuring 80% ZLMv Health Score

NCE TPM Implementation :

- -Support LLT to shape-up the NCE-TPM Implementation plan for the Factory including the AM Step Change plan

- Drive effective factory governance around NCE Routines(LLT-WG-Pillars)to ensure that NCE .implementation contributes to deliver business results

-Ensure Functional Compliance ,Conduct Health Checks and full adherence to Mandatory G.I.s & Standards.

- Ensuring timely Step Changes And Work with LLT on Workplace Transformation

Capability Building :

- Facilitates the development of Capability Building Roadmap for the factory in line with the NCE-TPM Implementation Plan

-Coaches,Trains and Evaluates  the LLT &  Work Group Routines & SDCA on Tagging-CIL-CL-Changeover-Startup-SHO (Coach by Doing)

-Coaches,trains and Evaluates the Quality of Problem Solving Projects GSTD

- Promotes and supports cross-fertilization of Manufacturing best practices, knowledge, standards and improvements across the factory
