Location: Princes Gate, Narberth, Pembrokeshire
Shift: Monday-Friday – Days only


Salary: £43,300 + potential bonus + generous pension scheme + 12 flexible days on top of 25-day holiday entitlement + 2 paid volunteering days + other fantastic benefits!

Position Summary

We have a fantastic, new opportunity for an experienced Line Performance Engineer at our Princes Gate production facility in Pembrokeshire.

 

Reporting directly to the Factory Engineering Manager, you will support planned maintenance activities on your assigned production line within a busy water production plant.

A day in the life of a Line Performance Engineer

The main purpose of your role will be to support and participate in the implementation and execution of the factory asset maintenance programme aimed to eliminate unplanned stops and optimise maintenance cost and as a result increase asset intensity.

 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

 

  • Creating and implementing a full planned preventative maintenance programme for all Assets on the production line.
  • Actively participate in maintenance routines to ensure that maintenance activities are scheduled and executed in time with high quality.
  • Assisting on more complex breakdowns in conjunction with Shift Engineer.
  • Support capability and competency building within the maintenance team with maintenance manager.
  • Support in PM initiatives including Breakdown Analysis (BDA)

 

                                                                                                                                                                                                

What will make you successful

Ideally, you will already be an experienced engineer, with a background in providing planned reliability maintenance in an FMCG environment.

 

  • Minimum HNC or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 'Multi-Skilled' Maintenance Background with a good core knowledge in both Mechanical & Electrical disciplines is a distinct advantage.
  • Experience in Planned Maintenance Systems
  • Previous experience in cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Processes)
  • Previous knowledge of Asset Care/Maintenance & TPM is Desirable
