We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager to join our UK Nestle Waters & Premium Beverage team at our Princes Gate site in Narberth, Pembrokeshire.

A day in the life of a Production Manager
As a Production Manager you will be responsible for delivering the department objectives by empowering and engaging people to develop their capability and ways of working. You will drive continuous improvement and ensure the production plan is fully achieved on time and in compliance with meeting the requirements for safety, quality, cost and delivery.
This role will report to the Plant Manager and will form part of the factory leadership team on site. It is an exciting opportunity to lead through change and progress your career.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Drive Manufacturing Excellence.
- Ensure that the health & safety culture and conditions for a safe working environment are constantly part of the manufacturing objectives.
- Ensure that finished products are consistently manufactured according to standards of quality (compliance), on time, and meeting consumer expectations.
- Manage production effectively through operational reviews and use standard routines to ensure sustainable results and drive continuous improvement to deliver breakthrough results.
- Ensure development of department team and staff - through engaging and empowering people, performance management, career development, succession planning and coaching.

The person that is successful in this role will be driven to drive improvement across production. This opportunity offers both individual development and the chance to be an integral part of a highly skilled leadership team.
Other key experiences include:
- Proven experience within a leadership role within an operational role within a complex fast-paced FMCG production environment.
- People Management and development experience including employee relations.
- Experience of TPM and Lean manufacturing is essential.
- You will be a credible, approachable and strong character – able to gain the buy in of key stakeholders on site and across the wider business and flex your style depending on the audience.
- Experience managing change programmes.
- Strong belief in the importance of H&S within manufacturing/engineering.
- Ability to ensure smooth operation through effective staff management.
- Ability to communicate across all levels and work on own initiative.
