Shift: 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights)

We have a fantastic, new opportunity for a Warehouse Operator to join our Princes Gate production facility in Pembrokeshire.

Your Impact

 

As a Warehouse Operator, you play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include managing the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. You will work collaboratively with team members and external partners to facilitate efficient operations and uphold the standards of our organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Goods Inwards Management: Ensure that all incoming goods are unloaded and stored correctly. Verify that all relevant paperwork is checked and submitted to the main office.
  • Goods Outwards Management: Oversee the loading of outgoing goods, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Confirm that all necessary documentation is checked and signed before submission.
  • Inventory Compliance: Maintain knowledge of warehouse stock and scanning systems. Ensure full compliance with inventory management protocols.
  • Communication Coordination: Facilitate effective communication with hauliers to coordinate booking times. Ensure all parties are informed of schedules and requirements.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and outside yard. Adhere to safety and operational standards.

To succeed as a Warehouse Operator, you will demonstrate a proactive attitude and the ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a focus on safety and teamwork.

 

Key Skills and Experience:

 

  • Core Experience: Experience working in a warehouse or physical logistics environment is desirable; however, training will be provided.
  • Safety Standards: Proven experience working to safety standards to ensure a secure working environment for all team members.
  • Motivation and Enthusiasm: Self-motivated individual who consistently applies energy and enthusiasm to the job.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all team members, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
