Position Summary: 
Manage and execute the technical delivery of capital investment projects within the assigned scope, from design to implementation and start-up, ensuring compliance with the project charter, design specifications and Nestlé standards. The role covers project controls, project schedules, cost estimates, installation, testing and commissioning of new equipment and production lines, while monitoring progress, resolving operational issues and mobilising the resources needed to deliver the project. 
Within the Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) area, you will ensures that AGV solution covering intralogistics and end-of-line integration, AGV material flows and safety concepts are embedded from design through commissioning and ramp-up.

A Day in the life of a Project Leader - Automation Systems (AGVs):
1. Before project design phase:
- Support the Project Engineering Manager and End-to-End Project Manager in developing the investment project charter and ensure it is strictly followed throughout the project.
- Prepare project controls, timing assumptions, cost estimates and technical design inputs for the AGV scope.
- Define system scope and intralogistics constraints and collect the resources necessary to execute the project within scope.
   

2. During project design phase:
- Execute the basic and detailed design of the AGV scope based on Nestlé Corporate Business Principles, Nestlé standards, local regulations, URS and TPM characteristics (safety, quality, affordability, maintainability, operability and reliability).
- Develop URS for AGV systems and ensure alignment with interfaces, material flows, controls and safety requirements.
- Ensure success criteria are correctly defined for integration tests, FAT, SAT and operational readiness.        


3. During project implementation phase:
- Ensure that AGV systems, end-of-line equipment, conveyors, controls and material-flow interfaces are implemented in accordance with timing, cost, quality, URS and operational requirements.
- Coordinate suppliers/contractors, technical reviews, FAT, SAT, action plans and risk analysis for the AGV area.
- Ensure all suppliers are trained on SHE, Quality and Environmental policy and that safety, interface robustness and operational readiness are guaranteed during installation and commissioning.        


4. During start-up and the whole project life:
- Support the Operations / Start-Up Leader to ensure a smooth transition to operations after commissioning and during operational readiness and start-up.
- Lead follow-up of interface and material-flow issues, documentation, budget/timing/risk tracking and escalate immediately to PEM / E2E when scope, cost, timing or system reliability are at risk.
- Deliver technical reporting, PDA / lessons learned and promote sustainable, environmentally friendly solutions.


What will make you successful? 
•    Experience delivering one or more projects successfully in AGVs areas.
•    Experience proactively applying SHE requirements and risk-prevention methods to foster a zero-harm workplace and protect people and equipment. 
•    Experience with integrated system testing, FAT / SAT and start-up activities.
•    Experience with financial follow-up, budget tracking and project reporting.
•    Participation in advanced Project Management training is a plus.
