Job Description: 

The Business Acquisition Manager will be responsible for leading and integrating cross functional business acquisition projects and will also guide the B2C channel & innovation strategy through insights and business analysis. This role will also champion a mindset of interdependency by leading key cross functional projects, meetings and processes at Nespresso USA. This is a hybrid-based opportunity. 

Responsibilities: 

Nespresso Machine Channel Strategy 

•    Leads the US market channel strategy initiatives for machines to tailor assortment, merchandising, and promotions to optimize growth strategies by utilizing knowledge of the key touchpoints across the consumer journey.
•    Leads a cross-functional project team to continually refresh the channel strategy by taking into account new innovation, retailer and machine partner assortment strategy, competitive price matching environment, new data and data collection tools, and changes in the macro landscape (consumer tastes and retailer health).

Nespresso Machine Launches 

•    Leads critical projects and processes to support machine launches and phase-outs in the US market.
•    Leads continuous improvements to the new machine launch process by liaising with internal key stakeholders including, but not limited to, Trade Marketing, Marketing, Retail, Trade Sales Team, Technical & Quality Management, Nespresso HQ and others, as needed.
•    Leads cross channel post-launch assessments for key product launches & initiatives, not covered by product team.
•    Integrates projects with relevant functions by leading a comprehensive handover process ensuring a smooth transition and sustainable integration of innovations and business solutions.
•    Leads the business acquisition hub processes development and information management to drive and evolve the Nespresso acquisition model.

Acquisition Acceleration 

•    Also leads the US market regional acceleration strategy initiatives to develop a consumer-centric, analytics-driven, and comprehensive regional approach to attract current and prospective new members to drive annual OP
•    Partners with the Data & Insights team to harness a wide range of data sources, base analytics on the most up-to-date understanding of consumer behaviors and translate insights into scenarios that will provide a basis for regional acceleration initiatives. Scenarios should be regularly updated with new data and insights to refine and develop over time.
•    Partners with cross functional teams in Trade & B2B to deliver strategy for implementation into an executional plan.

Requirements: 

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or in a related field required. 
•    5+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management, Category Management, Business Development or in a Marketing field required. 
•    Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook) required. 
•    Must have excellent communication (oral and written), presentation, organization and stakeholder management skills (ability to build relationships). 
•    Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented and must be a strategic thinker.  
•    Willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision. 
•    Willing and able to travel up to 5% based on the needs of the team and the business. 

The approximate pay range for this position is $130,000 to $140,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
