Business Optimization Specialist (Remote Opportunity)

Position Summary


The Business Optimization Specialist will lead key initiatives to support and enable the execution of the CRC strategic framework. This position is a remote-based opportunity. 
 

Responsibilities: 

•    Monitor departmental appropriations and expenditures, preparing fiscal assessments/notes, and budgetary transfers as required.
•    Monitor the performance measures submitted per expense and evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of budget.
•    Ensure recommendations are based on accurate information and analysis by maintaining a strong emphasis on validation of data between department and accounting.
•    Prepare Request for Proposals (RFP) for new vendors.  
•    Update contracts and other request under the procurement platform.
•    Responsible for Iron Mountain for allocating expenses, controlling storage, destruction and retrieval when necessary.
•    Main point of contact for NCE at the CRC and for Goal Alignment Pillars.     
•    Act as CRC NCE Champion to implement NCE methodology at the CRC in collaboration with the NCE Director.  
•    Deliver and regularly update the OMP focusing on the company top priorities including key measures, milestones and activities.                                                                                                                                                                            
•    Plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project being worked on.
•    Collaborate with upper management and other departments to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule.
•    Ability to work by herself/himself, or be in charge of a team to complete the project.
•    Use analytical skills to solve potential issues/roadblocks that would impact the completion of project.    
•    Workplace communication Champion for the CRC: collaborate with senior leadership and management to create content and manage internal communications specific to the CRC. 
•    Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director. 
 

Responsibilities:   

•    High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics preferred. 
•    2+ years of experience with Project Management is highly desired. 
•    Must have excellent analytical and budget management skills. 
•    Fluent in MS Office (Excel/Outlook/Teams) and multi-channel experience preferred. 
•    Must have strong organizational and communication (oral and written) skills. 
•    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and ability to deliver results by working with cross-functional teams. 
•    Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information, as well as travel up to 5%.
