POSITION SUMMARY:
Are you ready to take on the role of Data Analyst - Customer Analytics and drive a deep understanding of how consumer experience on Nespresso's direct channels impacts customer retention and lifetime value? As a Data Analyst, you will utilize advanced analytics techniques to uncover insights into customer behavior, providing actionable recommendations for the Product and Retail Teams. You will support the Sr Analytics Manager by conducting ad hoc analyses and creating automated dashboards to address strategic questions. Additionally, you will contribute to Nespresso's goal of enhancing cross-channel, personalized customer experience by executing the A/B testing plan established by the Customer Intelligence and Retail Teams. This is a hybrid opportunity (2 days onsite at Nespresso USA's NYC Manhattan Herald Square office), with the remaining days working remotely from home.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluation of In Store CX Initiatives:
- Owns measurement of the impact of business activities on retention and lifetime value
- Consult on A/B testing set up and execution for CX initiatives
- Analyze the results of A/B testing and shares findings and recommendations for improvement with business stakeholders
- Partner with Retail team on completion of pre/post analyses
Customer Analysis & Insights Generation:
- Own questions related to cross-channel customer behavior
- Distill data into actionable insights and synthesizes findings in ways to drive maximum impact to the business
- Mine data sources for insights and trends to unlock business value and inform strategic decisions
- Proactively initiate analyses based on trends in the data and shares findings with the wider organization
- Maintain strong working relationships both internally cross-functionally and with the relevant partners at HQ
Reporting Ownership & Dashboard Creation:
- Review automated reporting and own interpretation and sharing of results with business stakeholders during internal meetings
- Stay on top of trends uncovered in reporting, identifying key opportunities for the Customer Intelligence Team
- Lead the development of additional automated Power BI/Databricks reports based on business needs
Product Analytics Support:
- Analyze ad hoc based product performance related queries
- Maintain and improve existing product analytics tools and reports
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree , preferably in Business/Marketing, Statistics, or Computer Science
- Advanced degree in analytics or similar field a plus
- 1+ year of experience in an analytics role
- Advanced SQL querying skills
- Programming language skills (R, Python, etc.) preferred
- Experience with CRM and marketing data strongly preferred
- Experience with data visualization tools a plus
SKILLS:
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to deliver insights and findings clearly and accurately in stakeholder communication
- Able to effectively manage competing & parallel project demands.
- Solid strategic thinking and presentation skills
The approximate pay range for this position is $100,000- $115,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
