Position Summary

 

Within this role's scope is the development of strategy, flawless execution, and measurement of all Nespresso US paid social and influencer marketing activations and programs. The ideal candidate for this role is creative and has a passion for leveraging social & creator / influence marketing to strategically build brands, capture attention, and generate advocacy. They should also have a deep understanding of social platform capabilities, paid social strategy and be future-focused in order to drive innovation and growth in this space.

 

A Day in the Life 


• In collaboration with the Media Strategy & Investment Manager, lead paid social media planning & optimization across platforms in a way that follows best practices and drives key brand metrics (consideration and brand equity) 
• Maintaining relationships with key social platforms, specifically leading the development of Joint Business Plan (JBP) and learning agendas for Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and others. 
• Advising on and leading social-specific learning agendas within broader Paid Media Strategy
•  Leverage learnings to support Nespresso's evolution, innovation, and excellence in paid social media.
• Own, evolve and implement the Nespresso US influence marketing strategy via activations that drive key brand metrics, leveraging a data-driven and holistic view of the role of influence within broader communication strategies. 
• Strategizing, briefing, and executing all influence marketing programs, both dedicated programs and those supporting brand or product-specific campaigns 
• Pioneering and evolving innovative influence marketing strategies and tactics to continually deliver against business goals - driving a thorough measurement plan that supports continuous learning, optimization and development of best practices 
• Serving as internal expert and champion for the space by analyzing cultural, community, media, and market trends to inform strategic and creative development; staying informed on the latest creator and platform best practices; cultivating strong relationships with platforms (Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), gaining access to emerging features and technologies.
• Manage the agencies, vendors, and key partners in Influence Marketing to ensure flawless execution of campaigns and initiatives 
•  Serve as Nespresso lead and "the face of Nespresso" with external partners and influencers
•  Partner with Procurement and Finance to create agency scope of works, manage budget, evaluate performance, etc.

 

Winning Skill Sets:


• Education: Bachelor's Degree required, specifically Marketing preferred experience 
• 7+ years experience within social media and/or influencer marketing required 
• Experience on client side/CPG/ luxury goods is a plus Hands-on experience developing and executing creative, innovative and social first campaigns Solid understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, etc. including backend, publishing and analytics
• Ability to provide and communicate results to management and work in a fast paced environment 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required Strong project and budget management skills preferred 
• Capable of multi-tasking and working within a fast-paced environment 
• Strong analytical skills Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team
