Nespresso USA, Inc. seeks a Manager Employee Communications in New York, NY

 

Duties: The Manager Employee Communications will be responsible for leading internal company communications and contribute to building and protecting the brand’s reputation in the US market. Proactively develop and disseminate the brand’s corporate story internally, with a direct connection to external communications, by engaging employees and driving a strong, purpose-driven culture. As part of the internal communications function, this role is on a mission to connect Nespresso employees to the company, leaders, consumers, and to each other by driving purposeful, strategic, and engaging communications. This role will strategically design an employee engagement roadmap to implement each year with the goal of increasing measurements of success: employee engagement, sense of belonging, recommending the brand to others. Partner with the Employee Resources Group (ERG) and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (“DEI”) team to develop and execute communications strategies that strengthen culture and reinforce brand values. Drive collaboration and awareness among all employees and bring departments together to strengthen knowledge of the company while supporting them to better communicate their projects with others. The role will supervise one (1) Sr Specialist Employee Communications. Domestic and international travel required up to 10% of time for business meetings and events. Telework is available up to 2 days per week.

 

Salary: $161,460.34 - $171,460.34 per year

 

Requirements:

 

Job requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Social Science or a closely related field plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Public Relations, Internal Corporate Communications, or Business Communications role within the off-trade coffee industry. Required experience must include each of the following:

  • 4 years of experience developing internal corporate communication strategies in relation to branding;
  • 4 years of experience organizing events such as Town Halls or Summits;
  • 4 years of experience handling crisis communications including developing crisis communication plans, coordinating messaging, and providing guidance to employees and stakeholders;
  • 4 years of experience managing digital communications including managing intranet platforms, social media channels, and similar platforms to effectively reach and engage employees;
  • 4 years of experience developing roadmap presentations;
  • 4 years of experience rolling out culture plans to increase employee engagement;
  • 4 years of experience creating programs and initiatives that promote employee advocacy and reward employee contributions;
  • 4 years of experience analyzing employee satisfaction data;
  • 4 years of experience analyzing DEI success factors;
  • 4 years of experience implementing DEI programs;
  • 4 years of experience working with EX; and
  • 2 years of experience managing volunteer platforms including Deed to analyze employee data.

 

Domestic and international travel required up to 10% of time for business meetings and events. Telework is available up to 2 days per week.
