Position Summary

The Content Marketing Specialist supports the Brand Communications team and specifically the Content Marketing Manager in the implementation of the brand’s content marketing strategy, which aims to drive efficiency and effectiveness of brand content and ensure one brand is presented to the consumer at all times. The role will help coordinate the day-to-day content needs across the organization and manage project oversight of key content planning and creative production projects. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Content Marketing Manager in stewarding, implementing and activating the cross-functional Content meetings and the Content Task Force
  • Support adoption and usage of global and local content management systems and planning tools
  • Manages internal elements of Content Studio project management, working cross-functionally with Content Hub members (Nespresso stakeholders/requestors) to calendarize and field new briefs, create timelines, develop creative, alignment with legal, addressing creative feedback and overall deployment of assets.
  • Aid in the implementation of Nespresso USA's Content strategy by assisting with agency / partner relationships and project management across creative and content productions -- managing timelines, supporting creative review processes, tracking deliverables, updating status documents and creating regular internal updates/memos about key projects. Opportunity for stretch assignments to own specific local shoots or content sourcing project(s).
  • Be an internal champion for content and creative innovation by maintaining a working knowledge of content best practices and supporting internal teams as a content expert and consultant on key campaigns and materials
  • Advocate for fresh, innovative marketing ideas by staying abreast of industry trends, social zeitgeist and competitors while simultaneously sharing and presenting content learnings via case studies of owned and inspirational creative and campaign work
  • Own the detailed financial and budget management processes to support content development projects and priorities by requesting/opening POs, tracking spend and invoicing against Nestle/Nespresso procedures, setting up new vendors, providing inputs to DF, etc
  •  Lead relationships with key content vendors / partners / tools (ie, Opal), ensuring their capabilities are fully leveraged, creating efficiencies, identifying any gaps or needs and recommending solutions.
  • Oversee creative agency in Paid Media trafficking process - traffic sheets and asset hand-off via Opal

Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ Years in Communications / Media roles at Brand or Agency, required. Experience in CPG / luxury goods is a plus
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strategic thinker understanding both short and long term business consequences of all decisions
  • Comfortable with both traditional, awareness generating media (i.e. TV, print, etc.) and digital media (social and performance)
