Position Summary

The eCommerce Project Manager will play a vital role in keeping project activities on task, responsible for leading projects from discovery and assessment through QA and deployment – while supporting multiple initiatives simultaneously and accountable for meeting deadlines.


eCommerce Management

  • Build out project plans, resource/budget estimates, timelines and resourcing against the local eCommerce roadmap as defined by the Operations manager aligned with Sr eCommerce Manager and broader organization. Projects can be eCommerce driven or cross-stream and will include, but not limited to: product rollouts, site optimizations, local technical initiatives, new platform integration, site merchandizing projects, global rollouts.
  • Document the project deliverables and scope in the Statement of Work.
  • Develop, manage, and document all production schedules, milestones, projection, estimates for assigned projects.
  • Deliver project outputs in accordance with project plans, costs, and stakeholder expectations
  • Manage project scope, identifying, defining, and communicating risks and change requests before taking appropriate action to minimize impact on project success.
  • Serve as internal stakeholders point of contact to manage customer expectations and communications, ensure that the stakeholders are informed on the project status, and obtain approval and signoff on all major deliverables.
  • Assign individual project tasks to the projects team, holding regular meetings and ensuring all tasks are completed on time, in partnership/alignment with Operations Manager. Define and document project work breakdowns, monitor task, status, update work estimates.
  • Coordinate input from all project members, gain consensus and alignment when needed to ensure successful delivery.
  • Ensure that all work is produced in accordance with appropriate processes and that opportunities for improvement are identified and agreed upon.
  • Conduct regular meetings to report project progress.
  • Lead end-of-project reviews and produce lessons-learned document at the end of the project 
  • Manage a development backlog and lead the Delivery team to size, scope and prioritize its initiatives 
  • Ensure project plans, development documentation and specs are accurate and kept up to date 
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders, foresee blockers and identify and propose solutions before they arise.
  • Partner with eCommerce team or stakeholders for functional expertise during project planning, development and production-support



  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification strongly preferred
  • Scrum Certification is a plus 


Professional experience: 

  • 4+ years of project management experience managing projects through the entire lifecycle, from inception to go live
  • Experience working in Agile and Waterfall software development environments
  • Experience in eComm / Digital projects preferred
  • Experience writing Statements of Work or Project Charters
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project 
  • Effectively collaborates and influences project team members through strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Highly organized with strong time-management skills Flexibility and adaptability to perform in a high-volume, fast paced and dynamic environment 
  • Focused on results, proactive, service oriented 
  • Excellent oral and written skills Problem 
  • Solving Skills Positive, organized and adaptable workstyle 
  • Good knowledge of eCommerce platforms, Web Analytics and SEO is a plus
