Position Summary:
The Quality Specialist will support drive a culture of quality across all U.S. locations by performing audits, supporting regulatory compliance in boutiques and warehouses, and ensuring the highest standards in food safety. This role will also oversee water and ice testing, conduct in-depth complaint analyses to identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions, ensuring compliance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement throughout the organization, partnering with stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction is top of mind and effectiveness of action plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive quality and compliance in products and services
- Lead and perform QSHE audits (boutiques, distribution centres, warehouses, call centre, repair centre, POS) and follow through on the implementation of action plans/recommendations
- Support in yearly traceability exercise, quality in POS, temperature control, complaint management, return management, and all other quality exercises
- Drive the preparation of quality related communications, training supports, procedures, etc.
- Develop and monitor quality reports and KPIs for continuous improvement (Dashboard, Monthly Operating Reivew ) and ensure proper communication of the results throughout the whole company
- Support in Quality training and promote and maintain ISO standards for quality management systems.
- Review and update policies and procedures as necessary related to the QSHE Management program and ensure DMS (Cority) are kept update and in good working condition
- Provide guidance to 3rd parties where Nespresso has product presence (e.g. warehouse, destruction sites).
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and other (e.g. Nestle) requirements.
- Water and ice testing for all BTQs an sites.
- Complaints data in depth analysis and report and support in root cause analysis of top customer complaints.
- AdHoc Project Management
Support Safety culture and engagement
- Lead Friends Helping Friends analysis, develop dashboard and provide answers in a frequent basis to participants of the program
- Support on Safety presentations, trainings and participations in meeting/events
- Perform 2 step Risk Assmement in new stores according to procedure
- Support the implementation and operationalization of the Heat Map for all retail stores
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree, required. (Degree in Quality, Safety, Environmental, or Engineering, preferred)
- 1+ year of exporience in the area/similar technical area
- Delivering results by working with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated capability to lead projects and change management
- Proficiency Knowledge of Windows software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate sophisticated regulatory and technical issues in lay terms.
- Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment with minimal direct supervision and have strong demonstrated technical, interpersonal, and self-initiative skills
- While traveling and performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time and in the location they are working in or traveling to.
- Travel required 30%
The approximate pay range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
