The Senior eCommerce Operations Analyst plays a critical support role in the successful day to day management of the eCommerce platform. This role will support the team in continuously optimizing the website, enhancing its technical performance to deliver a superior user experience and ensuring commercial objectives are met. This role will consistently support eBusiness colleagues such as Front End Developers, Content Developers and UI/UX Manager with actionable data driven recommendations based on everyday monitoring of site user behavior. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Monitoring, Investigation and Analysis

  • Deep dive into the performance of specific sections of the site to uncover any oddities or areas of opportunities to enable quick decision making / course correction for Sr. Site Merchandiser, UX/UI Expert, Content Producers & Front-end Developers
  • Provide detailed view of merchandizing activities.Tracks exposure, CTR, hover rates, page comparisons, zone performance, behavioral funnel analysis in order to optimize all merchandising activities and further refines understanding of winning combinations across navigation, landing pages, landing page sections, placements and creative
  • Support all site enhancements relating to site functionality and content across the website and mobile by working hand in hand with UX/UI lead, Sr. Visual Merchandiser, UX/UI Expert, Front End Developers and eCommerce Manager.
  • Partner with D&I team to integrate work into drivers analyses that will inform site development strategy

 

Support Site Testing, Personalization & Data Tracking

  • Ensure proper in-platform set up and data plumbing of all AB and multi-variant test setups as defined in the ecomm testing roadmap in partnership with the UX/UI Expert, front end developers, content producers and Insights & Analytics team. Acts as lead for all post tag testing to ensure accuracy of test setup 
  • Own the implementation of the full testing roadmap, colaborate with key stakeholders such as Insights & Analytics to stay on top of this and ensure it receives the priority it deserves. 
  • Provide scenario inputs to the testing roadmap inclusive of user experience testing, feature, functionality and content testing that fuels immediate and near term site optimizations. 
  • Partner with D&I to develop and evolve knowledge base of our shoppers' behaviors. 
  • Be available to identify abnormal site behaviors such as sudden increase in bounce rates, cart abandonment and indicate revenue at risk and ways to fix.
  • Partner with D&I to develop plans to measure effectiveness of new enhancements (both global and local) that evolve the website into a more seamless experience
  • Assess above activities and their direct impact on the user journey and day-to-day performance of the website 
  • Ensure all Content Square mapping and zoning is in place for accurate tracking
  • Serve as a liaison with HQ, Infotrust, media agencies and internally with front end developers on all tagging and pixel requests and subsequent testing to ensure data is tracking accurately
  • Be responsible for all UTM generation to support proper campaign tracking and measurement 

 

Reporting, Best Practices & Knowledge Sharing 

  • Provide commentary on daily website metrics that add color to positive or negative website performance trends based on daily site performance monitoring
  • Collaborate with D&I on connecting daily web/app performance with longer term trends
  • Work closely with D&I to help convert all current reports into dashboards that all teams can access at any point.
  • Collaborate with DD&I to automate reports on website performance, media contribution and campaign performance
  • Identify and document local ecommerce best practices and share with stakeholders in HQ, within the Global Ecommerce Community
  • Together with e-Commerce Manager, foster a culture of continious excellence and optimization on daily website operations 

 

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree required, in quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Applied Analytics, Operations Research, Accounting, Business Management, Economics, or Finance preferred

 

Professional experience:

  • 3-4+ years of experience with web/mobile analytics, metrics gathering, reporting and analysis required
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Analytics or related data-analysis software required
  • 2+ years of experience with A/B and MV testing management 
  • Advanced proficiency in tools such as Content Square and SessionCam
  • Technical understanding of GTM and site tagging to track transactional and behavioral data.
  • Data interpretation and presentation skills.
  • Experience in a multi national, cross channel environment.
  • Stakeholder Management in a matrix organization preferred.

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
