Position Summary

Strategic Planning: 
Assist with the execution, deployment and enhancement of the Market Business Strategy  
• Assist with the development and management of strategic initiatives across the organization and ensure overall alignment with Market objectives
• Responsible for the coordination of regular meetings throughout the year including monthly executive meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews and additional meetings based on business need 
• Define KPIs, track of performance vs. goals, and identify levers of improvements for strategic initiatives; Develop a detailed knowledge of the Nespresso business model 
• Maintain strong working relationships with internal departments to support cross-functional projects 
• Distill data into actionable insights, build business cases and synthesis data into presentations for various internal customers
• Produce a quarterly readout of initiative progress, highlighting key wins and watch-outs

Support efforts to drive North America success 
Consolidate North American initiatives, define work streams and manage project teams assigned to lead initiatives 
• Organize North America meetings throughout the year: align agendas, coordinate pre-reads and update KPI dashboards
• Develop a framework for scaling market-level projects to the North America level
• Clearly articulate and quantify the business impact of North America projects on the overall region 
• Work with HQ and other Nespresso markets to share best practices and identify scalable projects from other markets

Innovation and Business Development
Help build an infrastructure to increase cross-organizational activities (e.g., community building, thought-leadership, partnership acceleration, etc.) and provide quantitative support for other key initiatives. 
• Help identify, analyze, and present new business opportunities for the organization 
• Assist with long-term project and scenario planning to help facilitate internal conversations 
• Play an active role in managing strategic commercial projects with significant cross-functional impact. Examples include digital enhancement in retail, locational analytics , and an enhancing our recycling program 
• Actively seek and participate in industry groups outside of Nespresso
• Monitor and understand the ROI of specific initiatives and conduct thorough pre and post assessments of initiatives
• Support the business in identifying and executing efficiency savings to fuel market growth drivers and protect the bottom line.

Education and Experience
• Bachelors degree required
• 3+ years of business experience required, with the ability to identify trends and translate them into insights  
• Prior experience in consulting or corporate strategy preferred 
• Ability to effectively communicate complex issues and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders 
• Experience putting together data and consumer insights-driven business plans, including revenue forecasts and scenario planning 
• Self-starter with a problem solving attitude who is able to find issues/opportunities and determined seek solutions
• Excellent organizational, listening, interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication skills preferred. 
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team and to take initiative. 
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
