Position Summary:
Seeking a data driven User Experience (UX) Strategist who is passionate about user behavior; excels at applying deep understanding of qualitative analysis (journey mapping, etc.) and quantitative data (web analytics, purchase behavior, etc.) to Nespresso's UX across all digital properties. Role requires the ability to build strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders; focused on improving the UX of the website in collaboration with eCommerce Manager, Senior eCommerce Analyst, Senior Visual Merchandiser, Operations and Marketing teams.
     
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish eCommerce UX Strategy by envisioning complex UX ecosystems (user journeys, personas, archetypes); inspire teams to push boundaries in creating desired business outcomes
• Work with the Senior eCommerce Manager to develop a clear vision for UX at Nespresso US and lead a sophisticated approach to forward-thinking design
• Plan, conduct and synthesize research in collaboration with teams using data driven design methodology and tools
• Introduce agile methodology to create best in class, personalized experiences across all digital properties.
• Hands-on developing or working with agency partners on visual storyboards, behavioral prototypes, user flows, design assets, mock-ups, and wireframes to craft intuitive E2E experiences
• Work with stakeholders to develop robust insight generation and testing plans 
• Lead full cycle design projects from design strategy through execution
• Collaborate with team ensuring iterations of digital properties founded on market recommendations
• Create a UX center of competency for the market with guidelines for ways of working to support agile forward-thinking design
• Current with UX trends contributing to ongoing excellence across team
• Evolve company Design Language; establish design standards
• Champion for superior UX within the company and on behalf of market
• Balance UX best practices with business objectives enabling optimal decision making 
• Passionate about user behavior, psychology and ability to use data to identify opportunities
• User advocate grounding ideas in data; partners with stakeholders to incorporate customer insights in creative process
• Ensure continuous site experience improvement by measuring design effectiveness and implementing changes

 

Experience and Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree required
• 8+ years in UX role at a Brand or Agency required
• Portfolio demonstrates breadth and depth in UX 
• Advanced degree in Website design, UX, Cognitive Psychology or related field preferred 
• Experience in CPG / luxury goods a plus
• Experience using design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, Figma
• Understands capabilities / limitations of HTML, CSS, JavaScript & developing platforms
• Strategic thinker understanding short and long term business consequences of decisions 
• Experience running UX Research projects, translating consumer insights into usability experiences, and human centered innovation approaches
• Experience with Agile development methodology working with teams to execute on the vision and experience
• Understand and communicate business / technical issues
• Ability to simplify complex problems, manage risk and influence rapid decision-making
• Cutting edge expert in best-in-class User Experience and Site Design
