Based in Sydney, we are currently recruiting for a Webmaster to help manage the day-to-day operations of our eCommerce channels for NZ and contribute to our overall objective in providing our customers with the best in class digital user experience. This role is the interface between eBusiness and the other departments, particularly Marketing.

 

Within the eBusiness team, you will work closely together with the other webmasters, project specialist and web analyst to bring ideas to life.

 

Reporting to our E-Business Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Launching global and local campaigns (setup, test and activate) and ensure a consistent experience across all screens
  • Ensure each initiative is tracked for performance with appropriate performance measures
  • Post campaign analysis
  • Identify ways to optimise the user experience to ensure a seamless experience and path to purchase.
  • Own the day to day operational management by ensuring a fast, updated, bug free experience,  performing front and back-end tests and trouble shoot or escalate any major issues to HQ eBusiness or IT

 

The successful candidate will have solid experience in an eCommerce environment. Ideally, you will have strong experience in operational website management (Content Management, front end coding UX, Planning & Implementation) and exceptional Web Analytics experience to monitor performance and optimise the customer journey. Excellent knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS is essential as are interpersonal and communication skills.

You know your way around a CMS and like to tinker to create new user experiences.

THE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
 

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an ecommerce environment, with a demonstrable track record
  • Passionate about staying on trend with new UX developments
  • Be able to build trust and respect in relationships
  • Know how to leverage data and insights to establish stakeholder buy-in.
  • Know how to balance ambition with pragmatism
  • Thrive on challenge on a day to day basis 
  • A positive attitude with excellent tenacity and initiative
  • Possess strong attention to detail
  • Native level English
