Nespresso has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious eCommerce Analyst who has a data driven mindset mixed with strong commercial acumen to work with our eBusiness team to provide analysis and strategic insights and drive maximum channel performance.

 

The Senior Data Analyst & Performance Lead is responsible for monitoring customer behaviour and performance, turning multiple data streams (online, CRM, finance) into actionable eBusiness insights. You will provide a cohesive view of the online customer, identify trends across the online customer journey, provide insights and recommendations to maximise traffic, conversion, sales and customer satisfaction targets. This supports data-driven decision making to guide long term strategy and daily actions for the eBusiness team across Nespresso.com and Nespresso.com/pro for Australia and New Zealand.

 

You will also be responsible for all sales forecasting, daily and campaign reporting for all online touchpoints, including the sharing and presentation of this information. You will own the roadmap, hypothesis generation and evaluation of AB test cases to raise conversion rate.

To be successful in this role you will need:

Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in a fast pace retail ecommerce environment in an analytical role
  • Advanced Google Analytics Certification
  • Proven experience, increasing conversion through the online shopping funnel, running personalisation & AB tests analysing large volume and multiple streams of data to deliver meaningful, relevant, actionable insights and recommendations
  • Strong knowledge of reporting and insights tools (i.e. Power BI, Session Cam)
  • The understanding of customer lifecycle and knowhow to convert different online visitors using their device of choice
  • Proficiency in predictive modelling, forecasting and other statistical analysis

  • Keen interest in all campaigns and updates made online to understand and explain impact of these activities to data and performance
  • Curious, self motivated and takes initiatives to find meaning to data and opportunities for growth

  • Excellent communicator, storyteller and problem solver
  • Cooperative attitude with proven ability to build relationships, have strong influencing skills and be able to align strategies across several stakeholders
  • Passion about staying on trend and is digitally savvy
  • A positive attitude with excellent tenacity and initiative
