Position Summary

We are looking for a CSD Leader based at our North York location reporting into the Vice President, Category & Shopper Development. You will be responsible for developing and managing Category, Channel and Shopper strategy and concrete plans within the market to deliver long term profitable Category and market share growth. This position is a new role.

 

A day in the life:

  • Lead channel, customer, OMNI, and HORECA strategies to drive profitable growth, market share, and commercial performance across the business.
  • Champion Strategic Revenue Management initiatives, leveraging pricing, mix management, and portfolio strategies to optimize revenue, profitability, and long-term value creation.
  • Own the integrated commercial planning process, partnering cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing to develop and execute category, customer, and channel growth plans.
  • Drive shopper marketing, category roadmaps, and sales playbooks that deliver best-in-class execution, enhance shopper engagement, and strengthen customer partnerships.
  • Build and develop high-performing teams through coaching, talent development, and succession planning, while ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.    

 

What will make you successful?

  • Completion of a University Degree, ideally in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive commercial leadership experience including Category & Shopper Development, Customer Development, Revenue Growth Management, and Key Account Management with a large customer.
  • Successful delivery on KPIs, including top and bottom-line business results
  • Demonstrated understanding of all sales functions, Revenue Management, Finance, Marketing and Supply Chain
  • Experience operating within evolving business environments, including leading through ambiguity, significant organizational change, or business transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, challenge the status quo, and create innovative solutions where established processes or playbooks do not exist.
  • Strong external orientation with the ability to identify emerging industry, customer, shopper and channel trends and translate them into competitive advantage.
  • Strong people leadership capability with experience building, coaching and developing high-performing teams while fostering engagement and accountability.

Compensation Range: $140,000- 170,000/yr + bonus eligibility
