What to Expect:
As a Customer Business Specialist, you will provide operational, analytical, and project coordination support to our commercial team. You will help streamline customer onboarding, manage critical business processes, support sales initiatives, and ensure data accuracy across multiple systems. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working cross-functionally and contributing to the growth and success of our customer business. This position is a brand-new role.
A day in the life:
- Support customer onboarding and account management activities by coordinating customer setup, maintaining customer records, and processing documentation related to listings, pricing updates, and promotional programs.
- Provide operational and project coordination support for National Account Managers, including managing product samples, assisting with trade asset installations/removals, maintaining SOPs, and tracking key project milestones.
- Manage customer and business data across multiple systems, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete information to support commercial planning, reporting, and execution.
- Support customer presentations, trade shows, and sales initiatives by gathering data, preparing insights, developing presentation materials, and coordinating execution requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and team efficiency by proactively addressing gaps, recommending solutions, and contributing to continuous improvement within the commercial organization.
Role Requirements
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in sales support, business operations, customer service, project coordination, or analytical roles.
- Postsecondary education in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting a sale, commercial, or account management team.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, or customer data management.
- Project coordination or project tracking experience.
- Demonstrated initiative and continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify process efficiencies and solve problems proactively.
- Learning agility, curiosity, and willingness to take on new challenges.
- Interest in developing a future career in sales, account management, or commercial leadership.
- Experience working in a large, matrixed, or fast-paced corporate environment.

Compensation Range: $58,100.00 - $75,000.00 CAD + bonus eligibility
