What to Expect:
The IT Program Manager will be responsible for managing complex and cross-functional projects related to SAP implementations. To ensure it delivers expected value to the stakeholders, on time, on budget, on scope and on quality.
Adhering to established Project Management methodologies, they are responsible to complete, monitor, control and close it, ensuring quality and integrity of the information. Taking accountability for the project execution.
As part of this, the IT Project Manager will be leading the project team, including resources across different functions and expertise located both in Canada and different countries in America and Europe. Note: this position is a brand-new role.
A day in the life of an IT Program Manager:
• Governance, adherence to PMO methodology, lead meetings, create and monitor plans.
• Execution: Lead project team, handle interdependencies, track project execution across workstreams, assess risks, coordinate system testing, track change actions, support cutover, and lead hype-care post go-lives.
• Stakeholder Management: Prepare project status, address issues and escalations.
• Closure: Close Project, document lessons learned, and archive documentation.
Role Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Project Management certification : PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
• Project Management experience in SAP Project is an asset.
• 5+ years of experience in IT and business/industry.
• 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager with increasing responsibilities across complex and multifunctional projects.
• Leadership skills and track of record in leading on-site and virtual teams.
• Handling cultural diversity: respect for different cultures and understanding how to work with multiple cultures in the most effective way.
• Operating in a matrix organization and development of influencing skills.
• Stakeholder management in project management role.
• Facilitation of issues and conflict resolution in a cross-functional environment.
• Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization.

Compensation Range: $90,000 – $100,000
