Position Summary

We are looking for a Boutique Manager for our KitKat Chocolatory based at Yorkdale Shopping Centre reporting into the Marketing Manager.  This role will responsible for the effective management of the Chocolatory and whole team, whilst aligning with the Nestle Corporate Business Principles. You will also guarantee the smooth daily running of the Chocolatory to ensure sales & profit performance and Customer Service level. 

A day in the life of...

As a Boutique Manager, you will be working daily with cross-functional teams to make your plans come to life with lots of autonomy and support to really thrive.

Store and Sales Management
•    Financials: achieve sales and profit targets
•    Business Plan Implementation: implement marketing and sales plans, and provide insight driven recommendations to achieve targets 
•    Reporting: develop reports and recommendations on sales results to head office 
•    Manage store budget and track expenses
•    General Store Management: accountable for physical store upkeep, including but not limited to opening and closing, updating ordering platform, coordinating ad hock construction and installations in store
•    Scheduling: forecast and manage boutique staff schedule 

Kitchen Operations:
•    Chocolate Production: ensure Chocolatory operates in accordance to production plan with the support of Kitchen Manager and Demand Planner 
•    Inventory management: ensure products and supplies from all vendors & deliveries are received in a safe and timely manner
•    Manage relationships with other Nestle departments to ensure smooth kitchen operations 

Customer Service: 
•    Drive engagement and provide an excellent experience to every customer that walks into the store
•    Coach and train staff to provide consistent excellent customer service

Lead & Develop Team
•    Recruiting: recruit team in line with base rosters and business requirements 
•    Team Engagement: drive engagement and build action plans to support ongoing improvement such as recognition program and managing performance
•    Retention: drive retention through effective conversations and development plans 
•    Succession Planning: define and lead development activities for future success 

Training and Coaching:
•    Maintain current and up to date knowledge on KIT KAT products
•    Continuously evaluate the quality of service and give individual feedback to store staff
 

What will make you successful

As the successful candidate, will be someone who leads by example; a role model to the team who operates the store at a high level with excellent customer service, a positive and energetic attitude, agile operations and high accountability for production and quality of products. You Will Also: 
•    3-5 years of experience in a management role in retail space, preferably on a premium products and services
•    Business Leader mindset
•    Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
•    Strong planning and forecasting skills with astute financial acumen
•    Ability to deliver customer service that meets or exceeds the customer expectations 
•    Experience with the implementation of systems and policies with regards to retail
•    Detail orientated with strong organizational skills
•    Strong interpersonal skills with agility to respond to a dynamic environment
•    Team-building skills
•    The ability to work a flexible schedule including a minimum of 1 weekend day and some evenings
