Position Summary 
We are looking for a Marketing Intern based at our North York location for the months of May to August 2024.  This role will be responsible for working on key brand projects that meet the needs of our consumers and drive business growth. 

 

A day in the life of a Marketing Intern
As a Marketing Intern you will be working on various projects to improve the Nestle brand with consumers. You will be involved in communicating with key stakeholders, ensure that you are learning and understanding the importance of the 4Ps and the role of marketing at the world’s largest food company. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced marketers helping them shape insights into strategy and business projects to drive increased share in the marketplace and business profitability.

 

What will make you successful?
As the successful candidate, will be the champion for the brand throughout the organisation so you will need to be passionate, tenacious, results focused and really enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. You will already have great project management and analytical skills coupled with your highly organised, conscientious approach. 

You will also:
•    Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with an emphasis in Marketing, Brand Management or Marketing Communications.
•    Involvement in extracurricular activities which demonstrate initiative and leadership.
•    Experience with Digital marketing strategy is an asset.
•    A results and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills.
•    A proactive creative thinker who can generate new ideas/solutions to meet internal and external requirements.
•    Have the ability to build great relationships with internal stakeholders from various backgrounds and work collaboratively on multiple projects.
•    Have strong interpersonal skills with exceptional verbal communication skills. 
•    Fast learner, and must be comfortable working within a dynamic, challenging environment.
•    Strong computer proficiency (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
•    Be able to showcase excellent communication and project management skills.
•    Be passionate to build and grow brands, with ‘can-do’ attitude and a willingness to challenge the status quo
