Position Summary
We are looking for an Analytics Manager for Nestlé based at our North York location reporting into the Leader, Analytics. The Analytics Manager is a critical role responsible for a large array of competencies and experiences, from developing the analytic vision and data strategy for the Division to ensuring best-in-class analytics through individual contributions, partner management and the mentoring of Marketers. Leveraging and integrating numerous data sources enabling end-to-end analytics, this role provides the strategic insights, strong recommendations and quantifiable contributions to the overall achievement of business and financial objectives.
A day in the life of...
As the Analytics Manager, you will:
Implement and Drive the Analytic Vision and Strategy for the Division:
• Creates, Leads and Develops the analytic vision for the Division, designing the short and long-term analytic business plan. Establishes strategic analytic direction in partnership with the Senior Leaders of the Division
• Go-to-lead for the Divisional Leadership Team providing guidance in identifying business opportunities as a basis for decision-making
• Works closely with the BEO, and Marketing/Finance/CSD/Supply Chain Leaders to develop business drivers
• Understand reporting needs and create insightful methods to track and measure progress based on these drivers.
• Directs the analytical priorities and secures resources to achieve the vision while assuring the highest quality and accuracy of the analytic deliverables
• Develop data strategies and aligned analytical approaches based on a deep understanding of the business goals and requirements.
Provides superior data analytics and story-telling to the Business driving discipline in fact-based decision making:
• Integrated insight and recommendations across Category, Brand and Customer to build consumer/shopper loyalty and Customer engagement (category & brand leadership)
• Lead and develop the Divisional Predictive Analytics capability leveraging big data and market intelligence to model and predict optimal outcomes for the Division.
• Critical partner in the development of annual business and customer plans (MBS/ICP/Brand Plans)
• Leads KPI measurement and “how to win” actions (category, brand, customer score carding)
Mentor the Marketing Team to develop analytical capabilities enabling strong brand-building and fact-based decision-making:
• Supports and Mentors a team of Marketers on base decision-making through analytics and quantifiable opportunities, risks and business contribution.
• Develop and Deliver Analytic Training Modules/Plan
• Co-Owner of Monthly Performance Review directing a team of Marketers/CSD/Supply Chain/Finance and Insights of the business priorities and issues
• A hands-on mentor accountable for driving advanced analytics and data usage across the Division
Leads the development and maintenance of fact-based tools and reports from initial concept to testing, launch and final implementation across all categories:
• Use advanced analytical and technical expertise to enable reports and tools addressing key business issues for ongoing and ad hoc requirements.
• Synthesize multiple data sources in Tools and Analytic Initiatives. Leverage full suite of Nielsen, POS, Loyalty, Numerator, internal shipment data, qualitative / quantitative research with a focus on driving growth. Automation of causal, tracking reports (exception reporting, analytical reporting). Integrated KPI scorecards (internal, external data)
"Go-to" Expert in POS/Loyalty/Numerator Data for Marketing/CSD/Insight Teams
• Develop insights/analyses using all loyalty data/panel tools (Dunnhumby, Precima, IRI, Numerator, etc.) to identify and address business issues and questions
• Track performance of key launches through delivering: tracking tools, compelling Insight decks, competitive cross-Category benchmarks and presenting regular updates to relevant teams

You will also have:
• Minimum 8 years Analytics experience (multi-category CPG experience).
• Extensive experience in POS, Loyalty, Numerator and Nielsen data.
• Leadership experience in leading/mentoring cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to generate actionable insights out of big data.
• Ability to disseminate and synthesize diverse and vast data while communicating simply to non-analytic audience.
• Strong business acumen. Demonstrated ability to develop optimized tools/solutions in a complex environment and across multiple stakeholders
