Position Summary

We are looking for a Marketing Manager, Infant Nutrition based at our North York location for a 12 month contract who will be reporting into the Director, Digital Strategy and Consumer Engagement. This role is a fantastic opportunity to help plan, set and meet the strategic objectives of the Nestlé Baby & Me program by overseeing the execution of digital and traditional tactics and day-to day operations with support from the Consumer Relationship Management (CRM) team and other cross-functional partners.

A day in the life of...

This role reports into the Nutrition Marketing team which supports the Gerber, Good Start and Materna brands. As a Marketing Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the Nestlé Baby & Me service brand. This role is responsible for establishing strong direct relationships with consumers through the Nestlé Baby & me owned channels with a goal of supporting Brands’ business objectives. Responsibilities include: member acquisition, consumer engagement, campaign management, budget management, and generating insights across the various consumer touchpoints including web, social, email, direct mail and others as required.

You will also:
•    Support the 3-year strategic plan for Nestlé Baby & Me to ensure Nestlé achieves a best in class relationship with “new parents” to deliver improved business performance 
•    Manage day-to-day operations and performance of CRM digital marketing activities supporting acquisition through paid media and partners, and engagement tactics
•    Work with data analyst to track KPI and metrics, and perform analysis, in order to generate insights to drive continuous improvements of the consumer relationship, increase Brand conversions, mitigate risks and reduce overall program costs
•    Lead the development of 18-month functional plans to ensure activity plans, KPIs and budgets are aligned to NB&me CRM strategy and goals and the Nutrition brands' objectives
•    Responsible for the delivery and enhancements of the email lifecycle, email and social campaigns and the larger consumer journey
•    Create briefs to clarify needs and requirements and to direct change; review solution overviews to ensure solution adherence to the objectives and plan projects
•    Be accountable for a significant budget, ensuring all program operations are feasible, financially managed, properly reconciled and reporting them into finance on a monthly basis
•    Maintain the program’s communications calendar to coordinate consumer-facing messages across all touchpoints in support of program and Brand plans
•    Ensure the Program’s consistent brand message and look & feel across touchpoints; communicate clearly to consumers in a way that drives action and achieves business objectives
•    Determine how to localize global initiatives. Represent Canadian Nutrition team with Global and Zone stakeholders to identify opportunities & requirements
•    Manage Partners who have offerings distributed through the Nestlé Baby & me program
•    Guide and develop the CRM Assistant Marketing Manager and other internal and cross-functional team members to support the tactics and ensure they are bringing the Nestlé Baby & me vision to life
 

What will make you successful

As the successful candidate, you will be the champion for the Nestlé Baby & me brand throughout the organisation so you will need to be passionate, tenacious, results focused and really enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. You will already have great project management, digital and analytical skills coupled with your highly organised, conscientious approach. Pro-activity, tenacity and enthusiasm are essential, as is your ability to understand and work within our competitive market.  Your already developed marketing experience as a Marketing Assistant, Digital Marketing Specialist, or Digital Account Manager, will give you the experience you need to drive this great brand forward. 

You will also have:

•    University degree in Business or Marketing, and or equivalent combination of education and experience
•    Minimum 5 years successful digital agency experience and CRM management preferably at an agency or client-side
•    Business acumen, can connect the dots and understand impacts that could be caused by enhancements and changes
•    Curious mind and approach to problem-solving and plan creation
•    Experience planning and executing digital communications (email and social preferred), and skilled understanding of best practices and capabilities
•    Strong project management skills, demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies
•    Capability to manage multiple priorities and navigate in ambiguous, fast-changed environments
•    Strong communications skills, ability to communicate ideas clearly and perform well in team environments
•    Decisive and analytical nature with the ability to make recommendations to drive business improvements and results
•    Strong technical acumen, especially with regards to CRM technology ecosystems 
•    Facility with data, financials and understanding the stories behind the numbers 
•    Agile and able to pivot in a fast paced ever changing environment, comfortable taking calculated risks and doing things differently to carve a new way forward
