Location: Remote Ontario.  We will also consider strong candidates if they are located elsewhere in Canada and are willing to travel.

Position Summary

Canada’s evolving healthcare landscape has presented opportunities to interact with and influence a wider reach of customers leveraging virtual channels for communication. This is an exciting new opportunity that will enable Nestle Health Science Canada to have the ability to engage with more customers now and in the future.

As the Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth by leveraging virtual customer engagement capabilities to develop new high potential customers and influence existing ones to strengthen or change recommending/prescribing behaviour in favour of Nestlé Health Science products with appropriate patients.
 

A day in the life of...

•    Leverage databases, relationships and CRM virtual engagement tools to identify, prospect and qualify high potential leads (accounts/clinics/HCPs), and provide customer education on NHSc products and resources at defined points across the sales funnel. 
•    Validate and develop sales opportunities based on facts, logic and experience, and plan effectively through customer mapping (focused on key decision makers and influencers) and resourcing to execute on opportunities.
•    Effectively execute territory level business and customer plans in collaboration with line manager, and track execution against plans.
•    Provide samples and sales collateral as appropriate, and promptly follow-up to close, including following-up on sample usage and seamless transition of high potential leads to TMs.
•    Provide feedback to sales and marketing based on observations and trends; i.e. thoroughly understanding the patient journey and potential points of influence 
•    Leverage the tools and technology to assess and adjust investment to ensure alignment to opportunities.
•    Adhere to all company principles, policies, including safety and local regulations including administrative processes and requirements.
•    Active participation in meetings, events and conferences, as required.
 

What will make you successful

•    University degree in business and/or science.   
•    Minimum 2 years of virtual (phone/ video) sales experience with CRM tools, in the pharmaceutical/CPG/ Health Care/Medical Devices industry.  
•    Bilingual preferred – French & English
•    Proven ability to proactively explore and generate/qualify business leads with a lead-sales conversion rate at or above industry standards.
•    Proven ability to effectively engage customers across the sales funnel.
•    Strong business acumen. Ability to navigate information and data to make informed business decisions and recommendations. (Example: prioritization of accounts, effective allocation of resources against opportunities) 
•    Ability to influence internally and externally to deliver optimal business and patient outcomes.
•    Demonstrated creativity and entrepreneurial attitude. 
•    Demonstrated ability to use scientific/clinical information effectively to support selling messages. 
•    Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
•    Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize.
•    Polished professional having excellent communication and presentation skills.
•    Computer literacy and expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•    Experience using Salesforce/Veeva preferred.
