What to Expect:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will transform complex financial data into actionable insights that support business strategy and operational excellence. You'll serve as a trusted partner to stakeholders across the organization while driving reporting improvements. This is a brand-new role.
A day in the life:
- Analyze and report monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, providing insights to support business and leadership decision-making.
- Maintain and enhance financial reporting systems and processes, ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Prepare financial analyses, variance reporting, forecasts, and ad hoc modelling to support strategic initiatives.
- Support balance sheet reporting, reconciliations, cash flow analysis, technical accounting activities, and IFRS compliance.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and implement reporting enhancements.
- Contribute to special projects and reporting initiatives that support organizational goals and continuous improvement.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, corporate finance, or a related field; CPA designation is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP and other financial systems, combined with a strong background in financial reporting or corporate finance.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities, with strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

Compensation Range: $75,000-$85,000 CAD
