What to Expect:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will lead forecasting and financial analysis activities while supporting initiatives that improve business performance and help deliver against strategic objectives. This role offers broad exposure across the organization, working closely with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance Analytics & Solutions, and Corporate Finance teams. This position is an existing vacancy.
A day in the life:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to support business decision-making, demonstrating a strong understanding of P&L statements to conduct variance and mix analyses and investigate material deviations from forecast.
- Participate in business planning activities, including dynamic forecasting, Annual Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP), long-term strategic planning, and period-end close processes.
- Partner closely with Marketing teams to manage budgets and support the evaluation of marketing investments through pre- and post-analysis.
- Conduct value-added financial feasibility studies, including NPV, ROI, and contribution margin analyses, to assess financial opportunities and risks associated with business initiatives, new product launches, pricing decisions, marketing expenditures, retail promotions, and product renovations.
- Evaluate and challenge existing financial processes and reporting practices and implement improvements where appropriate.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support for special projects.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information while maintaining compliance with corporate policies and internal controls.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that positively impact profitability in collaboration with Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) and cross-functional stakeholders.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or related finance roles, such as Corporate Planning, Sales Finance, Operations Finance, or Category Finance.
- Strong financial analysis skills, including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and P&L management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate financial insights into business recommendations.
- Strong analytical attitude capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA, or CMA) and/or MBA.
- Experience with Power BI and business intelligence reporting tools.
- Knowledge of product standard costing and commercial finance analysis.

Compensation Range: $71,600.00 - $90,000.00 CAD + bonus eligibility
