What to Expect:
The Specialist Product Ownership – BI Solutions serves as a Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics subject matter expert responsible for delivering data-driven solutions that enable business decision-making and operational excellence. The role partners with business and technology stakeholders to design, implement, and enhance BI products while leveraging modern data, cloud, and AI technologies to drive business value. This position is an existing vacancy.
A day in the life:

Serve as the BI Solution Owner and trusted advisor, helping stakeholders unlock business value through data, analytics, automation, and AI-driven solutions.

Partner with business and technology teams to transform complex business needs into scalable BI products, analytics capabilities, and actionable insights.

Lead discovery sessions, solution design discussions, and requirement workshops to shape product direction and prioritize high-impact opportunities.

Design and drive the adoption of intuitive dashboards, reports, self-service analytics, and digital solutions that empower data-driven decision-making.

Provide expertise in data modelling, analytics best practices, visualization standards, and solution architecture to ensure scalable and high-quality outcomes.

Leverage modern technologies including Power BI, Azure, Snowflake, Power Platform, and AI capabilities to enhance reporting, automation, and business performance.

Champion data governance, quality, security, and continuous improvement while identifying emerging technologies and innovative ways to solve business challenges.

Collaborate with regional and global teams to align local solutions with enterprise strategies, standards, and future analytics capabilities.
Role Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in information technology, demonstrating proficiency in program/project management and business analysis is required.

Proven ability to work in a global environment, leading virtual teams consisting of business and IT stakeholders.
-
Ideally, possessing experience in a leadership capacity within one or more business functions, showcasing the ability to drive and influence organizational decisions.

Excellent communication skills, adept at engaging stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
Required Skills
-
Strong knowledge of BI Tools like Power BI and working experience in other BI tools like QlikView / Tableau is plus.

Experience with data modelling, dimensional modelling, star schema design, and advanced SQL.

Familiarity with SAP, Azure, Snowflake, and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents).

Experience leveraging AI technologies to enhance analytics and automation.

Strong stakeholder management, business analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Design Thinking, and product delivery methodologies.
-
FMCG/CPG or Retail industry experience is highly desirable.
