Position Summary:
Strategic partner to Waters Division BEO, serving as the primary link between category and operations teams, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment of objectives and delivery of operations strategy aligned to the business unit.
You will:
- Strongly support Nestlé Waters Division by providing Business Unit Operations leadership
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize supply chain operations, including sourcing across Nestle internal and external networks, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution, in alignment with Business Unit and Nestle Canada Operations teams goals and objectives, including NCI and MBS growth plans.
- Active participant in overall BU strategies in partnership with BEO and BU LT, including innovation, renovation, BPO, topline and bottom-line strategy alignment.
- Stewards Operations & KPI performance with partners across operations teams to alleviate strategic and tactical operations management from BEO, supporting BU objectives of sales growth, share growth and profit contribution.
- Accountable for ensuring cross-functional attainment of supply chain operational results, including but not limited to Total Delivered Cost, OPEX, Customer Order Fulfillment, Waste, Forecast Accuracy, Working Capital and product quality adherence.
- Ensure projects drive effectiveness & efficiency in the identified areas and integrate with other functions by: Steering, leading or participating in Value Chain development projects and business growth initiatives - Identifying the work plan, organizing and mobilizing the appropriate experts, linking cross functionally in particular with Finance, Physical logistics, Procurement, External Manufacturing , Technical Services, Engineering, Integrated Planning, Marketing, IMS Partners.
- Ensure achievement of project objectives through effective BU project portfolio management -- resource prioritization, timeline adherence, decision escalation and overall governance
- Provide BU-centric guidance for the connected Demand Planning and Supply Planning functions in partnership with central Integrated planning leadership.
- Proactively ensure effective engagement and collaboration with Manufacturing Factories (Canada local plants, Nestle IMS affiliates and External Manufacturing), Customer Service Operations, Customer Facing Supply Chain, Physical Logistics, Finance, Marketing and Sales). Escalation as required with SBU, IMS, MFG, Co-Man to resolve capacity strategy or issue escalation to support business needs.
- Drive best in class decision support in terms of visibility and interpretation to SC chain data. Quickly assess critical issues and opportunities that require action or escalation.
- Prioritize what's important and simplify the rest to drive focused actions against meaningful opportunities.
What you need to know
- Demonstrated strong business acumen, excelling in problem-solving and analytical tasks to support performance drivers and long-term direction setting
- Previous experience in operations management and strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing operational strategies to support category objectives
- Proven track record in project management and execution of cross-functional initiatives
- Experience in working with demand planning, forecasting, supply planning and inventory management processes is an asset
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement strategies, particularly in manufacturing, co-manufacturing, and import/export activities
- Leadership experience fostering collaboration and driving results with cross-functional partners
- Understanding Financial & Non-Financial Business results.
- Leading / managing change in organisations.
- Understanding of the Nestlé Continuous Excellence & Lean methodology.
What will make you successful:
Education:
- Degree(s) in either; Business Mgt, Finance, Industrial of Supply Chain Engineering preferred
- MBA would be an Asset.
Technical:
- MS Word Excel PowerPoint MS Teams, Other
- SAP, Power BI would be an asset
- Project Management tools would be an asset
